Office Access
- Entry to GVI CHC Office Carpark is located on the right-hand side at the end of the cul-de-sac.
- This carpark has a speed limit of 5km/Hour as per the sign at the entrance.
- This driveway operates in both directions.
- This carpark is for staff, small or light courier or visitor vehicles only.
- All trucks and heavy vehicles are to use the GVI yard entry gates.
Site Rules
- Vehicles delivering or collecting freight into, or from GVI CHC are to use the entry gate. The speed limit is 5km/hour as indicated by conditions of entry sign situated to the left of the entry gate. Speed limit signs are also located on the exterior of the building.
- All drivers MUST STOP, READ and UNDERSTAND the conditions of entry prior to entering the yard as per the Conditions of Entry Signage.
- On entering the yard all vehicles must proceed to the area marked “LOADING AREA” and park.
- When the vehicle has stopped, all drivers must carefully and safely move to the store office via the marked pedestrian walkway with their paperwork and make themselves known to a GVI store person.
- Prior to unloading or loading any vehicle all drivers must sign in and have completed the GVI Logistics induction.
- All drivers must follow all traffic and safety instructions given by GVI staff members.
- All drivers must take extreme care at all times and be aware of moving forklifts, vehicles and machinery.
- There is to be NO reversing or overtaking while moving through the GVI yard unless permission is given by a GVI staff member.
- If reversing is required a GVI staff member MUST be present to act as a spotter to assist you in reversing your vehicle.
- Exiting the GVI Yard is via the marked Exit Gate onto George Bellew Road.
- The speed limit remains 5km/hour until turning onto George Bellew Road.
- All drivers must carefully check for pedestrian and forklift traffic present in GVI yard before proceeding to the exit.
