Tauranga to Auckland Rail Interruption

Due to a KiwiRail Block of Line there will be no rail services between the Port of Tauranga and Auckland Metroport from Thursday 20th October to Tuesday 25th October.

Auckland Metroport remains open for receival and delivery.

This is phase 2 of the maintenance/upgrade that took place earlier this year.

• Both mains impassable
• Thursday – All Services cancelled
• Friday – All Services cancelled
• Saturday – All Services cancelled
• Sunday – All Services cancelled
• Monday – All Services cancelled

There will be an additional 3 trains per week after the block to alleviate the backlog as soon as possible, additionally cargo can be arranged to collect from Tauranga port.
